Hampden-Sydney College was able to build an Energy Research Lab (ERL) through the generosity of the Pensmore Foundation and Steve Huff '73. The lab utilizes advanced concrete technology and special insulation to reduce the energy necessary to heat and cool the structure. The floor and walls of the ERL also contain tubing filled with water. Cold ground water flows through the tubing during summer months while warm water (heated by a solar panel) flows through them in the winter. This video describes the student research experience during Phase 1 of the ERL project.
The Pensmore Foundation and Hampden-Sydney College are collaborating on a freestanding Energy Research Laboratory at the college campus, made possible by a grant from the Foundation. This unique project will allow students and faculty in the college’s Departments of Physics & Astronomy, and Mathematics & Computer Science to research energy monitoring, energy conservation, and sustainable buildings. This video program highlights several of the key individuals discussing and describing the project. This video and any excerpt thereof are © 2014 by Pensmore Foundation and Hampden-Sydney College. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE ARTICLE http://b4in.info/gZKv WHICH INCLUDES THEIR MIND BLOWING VIDEO FOOTAGE! http://b4in.info/gZKv Links to their website included NWO Begins "Tesla Energy Facility", Underground Research Lab. Luciferian symbolism everywhere! This is my third upload of the video, had to redo it multiple times, cut stuff out, and so on. That is why the ending is abrupt and why I ended up not having a video clip of 'their' video within this one. I have never had so much trouble! This is a must see, and be sure to check out my article on Before It's News! Their are OTHER videos you will NEED to see, loaded with NWO agenda! This is a government operation, as the man says! Don't miss it!
The Department of Energy is testing a new model for clean energy research and development (R&D) through a program called Cyclotron Road. The goal is to support scientific R&D that is still too risky for private‐sector investment, and too applied for academia. Participants receive the time, space and capital to pursue their research and the support to find viable pathways to the market. The projects have enormous potential to create enormous economic and social impacts. The program also aims to grow something bigger: “We’re trying to build a community of the best innovators from across the country who are all working on the hardest problems in energy and climate.” - Sebastien Lounis, Cofounder, Cyclotron Road Cyclotron Road is sponsored by our office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable E...
Engineering On Location Series: We visit the visitors center at NREL and learn about what they do. NREL is federally funded and researches biomass, geothermal, solar, wind and other technologies. The center is located in Golden, Colorado. Research from the facility has created spin off companies. The 'Engineering On Location Series' highlights interesting locations where historical or current feats of engineering occur in relation to the field of electrical and mechanical engineering.

Run by the University’s Environment and Energy Section, the ‘Living Lab’ is a programme that provides Cambridge students with opportunities to improve the University’s sustainability. Students can propose projects and will receive support from the E&E Section. The University’s buildings, grounds and operations act as a real-life test-bed to support participants’ professional skills development. This video introduces the Hydrogen Energy in Engineering Education (H2E3) fuel cell/electrolyzer kit for use in intermediate and advanced thermodynamics courses. This video is intended to supplement, not replace, the documentation provided with the H2E3 lab equipment. Please read the provided user documentation before using the equipment. The mission of the Hydrogen Energy in Engineering Education (H2E3) project is to develop, test, distribute, and promote curriculum and laboratory equipment for teaching university engineering students about hydrogen and fuel cell technologies through lectures, readings, and hands-on laboratory activities. For more information visit the H2E3 project website at http://www.hydrogencurriculum.org or the Schatz Energy Research Center website at http...
Construction is under way for the Interdisciplinary Science Building (ISB), a future world-class facility for energy research at Brookhaven Lab. Meet two scientists who will develop solutions at the ISB to tackle some of the nation's energy challenges, and tour the construction site.
Vision: To exploit the military potential of directed energy to achieve asymmetric advantage over our adversaries. Mission: Develop, integrate, and transition science and technology for directed energy to include high power microwaves, lasers, adaptive optics, imaging, and effects to assure the preeminence of the United States in air and space. * To support user needs for directed energy weapons applications and to address mission area deficiencies. * To exploit directed energy technology for Air Force and Department of Defense applications. * To avoid technological surprise. * To foster user awareness of the potential of directed energy for Air Force and Department of Defense applications. * To explore directed energy technology that offers high payof...
Energy Secretary Rick Perry toured the Oak Ridge, Tennessee National Laboratory, tested vehicles with 3-D printed parts, and called for more research lab funds. President Trump's budget would cut funds for the office that oversees national labs.
